Ups and Downs
It's been a weird up and down year for us. Continuing the down trend, our good friend MATT SMITH has chosen to exit this endevour of ours. It's been almost 7 years with him and our home base Hi/Lo. We wish him luck and hugs and a huge appreciation for having him be a part of all of this.
On the up side, we are getting together as a 4 piece for the first time today and excited about where that will lead us. Our new record is still on the way. A quick regroup and we'll bang it out fast as we can. See you soon.

Documentary Screening This Week
This Wednesday, Orphans drummer Mike Sobieraj's will be hosting a free screening of his documentary My City Limits based on the resettled refugee population in Buffalo, NY. The screening will be held at the Buffalo Historical Society at 6pm followed by a Q and A panel. Hope you can join us.

MY CITY LIMITS
The soundtrack to 'My City Limits' will be released on May 8th 2012. The documentary, produced by Orphans member Mike Sobieraj, focuses on the refugee resettlement in Buffalo, NY. The soundtrack was written and performed by Roger Bryan. The digital release will be hosted on bandcamp. We'll have more details on the release and the film in the coming weeks. So, we're doing this cool show with Micah Schnabel(Two Cow Garage) and Branden Barnett (Ghost Shirt) this Saturday at Mohawk Place. We're doing a sit down, stripped down (kinda) set and get to play some songs we've never done before along with some new songs and old favorites in a new way. Anyway, we want YOUR help! We are going to put together a video of the night and would like you to shoot the footage.

Two Cow Garage 10th Anniversary Show
Our dear friends and hardest working band on the planet Two Cow Garage are celebrating their 10th year together at the White Water Tavern in Little Rock, AR. The two day event starts September 2nd with guests Todd May, Tom Vollman, I Can Lick Any Son Of A Bitch In The House, Grand Champeen, Ghost Shirt, Roger Bryan and The Orphans, Austin Lucas and Glossary. Both shows are SOLD OUT. We are thrilled to be a part of it and can't wait to see all of you from across the country. See you in september.
